When you are ready to switch your energy to Stream and help The Education Foundation along the way, click the button above and follow the steps below:
After clicking the blue button “SWITCH NOW!” above, you will see a new page open up. On the new page, click “Get Services” (see red box and arrow in the image to the right).
As shown to the right where the red arrow is pointing, choose your appropriate state in the drop down selection.
Shown with a red arrow and box in the image to the right, click the orange button labeled “Enroll Now” under the “Electricity” heading.
After scrolling down the page a bit, click “Please Choose” for your state in the drop down selection as shown by the red arrow and box in the image to the right.
After selecting your state in the previous step, type in your address in the text bar shown in the red box and arrow in the image to the right. Then, click the blue button below your address that is labeled “View Rates”.
Once you select “View Rates” from the previous step, be sure to select your current electric supplier (Duquesne Light, West Penn Power, Penn Power, etc.) as shown in the image to the right by the yellow arrow. Then, click the blue button labeled “Continue” as show by the red box and arrow in the image to the right.
After clicking “Continue” from the previous step, this is the MOST IMPORTANT part: selecting the correct plan. The best rate (which is lower than you currently have) is the first one in the selection titled “Stream Cash” as shown by the red box in the image to the right. Click the blue button labeled “Select” as shown in the red box in the image to the right. You should see your selections in the yellow box (as shown in the image to the right) under the heading titled “Your Cart”. It should say [your address] under the title “Service Address” AND “Stream Cash” under the title “Electric Services”. Once all these selections are correct, click the blue button labeled “Checkout” as shown in the red box with the red arrow in the image to the right.
After scrolling down a bit, type in your Customer Number (for West Penn Power or Penn Power customers)/Supplier Agreement ID (for Duquesne Light customers) in the text field shown in the red box in the image to the right. The yellow box identified where you can find this number on your bill by clicking “See Example” in blue text in the image to the right. Be sure to scroll down more (shown with red arrow) after you’ve entered this unique number found on your current electric bill.
After scrolling down from the previous step, continue to complete the form shown in the red box with arrow in the image to the right. Then, continue to scroll down on the page.
After scrolling down from the previous step, finish completing the form as appropriate as shown in the red box in the image to the right. Then, click the blue button labeled “Continue” as shown in the other red box and arrow in the image to the right. In the following page(s), complete the four (4) security questions and any other on-screen instructions. Once you have successfully completed the enrollment, you will receive a confirmation page. You may print this page for your records.
